Tiger 320 Configuration & Development Software

PC-based configuration utility and development system for Tiger 320 controllers

Meter Configuration Utility Program

The Windows-based configuration utility provides several key capabilities:

  • Code Blanking — programming allows the controller to blank out all or selected non-required codes by clearing checkboxes in the Settings area
  • Display Text Editing — descriptive text can be customized for customer applications across four channels, totalizers, and peak/valley readings
  • Configuration Data Copying — transfer configuration data between Tiger 320 controllers and computers via EEPROM reading/writing
  • Macro Loading — download custom macros from file directly to the controller

Code and Setpoint Blanking

The Visible column determines which codes are available for reconfiguration. The Value Editable and Control Editable columns allow selective blanking of setpoint settings users should not modify.

Display Customization

Users can edit text for channels, totalizers, and setpoints. The system includes lockout switches that display [Lock] when configuration modes are restricted, preventing unauthorized changes.

Macro Compiling and Loading

The TDS (Texmate Development System) program enables users to write, compile, and load custom macros. Texmate maintains a growing library of pre-built macros for standard applications, which can be pre-installed in controllers.

The macro approach combines the controller's pre-programmed functions with small custom programs for specialized logic, creating a control system best suited to your particular needs.

Tiger 320 Operating System

The controller integrates analog and digital functionality similar to intelligent controllers with PLC logic. The operating system manages input processing, scaling, linearization, totalization, display control, timers, relays, and outputs automatically.
